Ok, some of you are right, it’s undocumented, but where you put the @reply does matter. They should make that clearer, in my mind.
Easy to check with someone following you, but not following me to see if they got that? I still bet others don’t see @ s they don’t follow.
If you’re telling the world how great someone is, putting an @ in there messes it up. Especially bad: using up a funny, non-existent @ name.
I suspect most twitter users don’t realize putting an @ into a Tweet means (by default) no one not following that person will see your note.
The “Don’t vote” video feels too contrived and manipulative to me. I don’t expect it will work on whoever these people are who don’t vote.
